Done! If you need anything else, just ping me on my talk page here or on IRC (StevenW). Steven Walling at work 20:36, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome. Thanks! --MZMcBride 20:39, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Chrome says that the logo is loading as png now. Thanks for that. As for the events... I was actually thinking we'd just move them to no subpage, e.g. New York City. It's simpler for on wiki and more Google-friendly too, if I'm not mistaken. Steven Walling at work 21:15, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary Block placed on my account

Dear Sir or Madam: I had a temporary block placed on my account. I think that user "DirectrixCW" has as much right to set up a Wikipedia event as anyone else does, and I believe that he did so in good faith. There are no other Wikipedia events going on in Arizona. I hope that I will not be blocked for raising questions of procedure. Thanks...--Jax 0677 08:04, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sir: I also have a block placed on my account "DirectrixCW" and would like it to be removed. I do believe that you and I have been talking through my gmail account, and I sent you a message from that account in regards to this matter earlier this morning. I do apologize for any miss-understanding that may have been a result of this event. I would like to state for the record, that this is not a marketing scam, and none of the volunteer hosts associated with this event are affiliated with Sapporo restaurant, nor are we making any money from this event. Sapporo has been gracious in allowing us to use their venue for the event, and all donations will be given to the Wikimedia Foundation. If you have any further inquiries about this situation, please contact me directly and I will be happy to try and clear up any miss-understandings. Thank you for your time. --DirectrixCW 09:19, 11 January 2011 (UTC-7)

Phoenix, Arizona event hosted by Sapporo Restaurant

Good evening. I got the message below when I tried to edit the event in Phoenix, Arizona. I believe that I was blocked illegally, or at a minimum, without being given a warning or the specific details of the charges against me. My account has since been unblocked, but someone from Directrix Computing Solutions simply stated:

"Please note that this is an event to celebrate Wikipedia, will have activities surrounding that end, but is also catered toward a business crowd. If you are in the Phoenix valley and wish to celebrate this event in a different manner, please setup a different event. To setup your own event, please click this link: http://ten.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organize or click the 'Organize' link located to the left of this text. If you are not associated with the planning crew for this event, please do not update this information. Thank you."

Someone else who was not an administrator then deleted his event. In my opinion, Chris Warrington did nothing wrong, and he has as much right to set up a Wikipedia event as anyone else. Additionally, I think that the following is also vandalism "http://ten.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Phoenix,_AZ&diff=prev&oldid=7907:", as the person who edited the event was probably not affiliated with the event. Thank you very much for your attention to these matters.--Jax 0677 17:00, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
